Medical Records Coder II-Certified (Onsite Position)
Contract position: 720 hours/4-4 1/2 months On-site (not remote) $31.25-$35.00/hourly
Abstract and code complex patient charts such as for hospital inpatient and/or the hospital portion of patient surgery medical records. Review charts and identify proper procedures utilize Coding of Diseases (IDC) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding classifications. Evaluate charts for completeness and accuracy in accordance with current standards and regulations.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of hands on experience, must be certified. CPC, CCA or Similar Certification.
