Position Description & Qualifications
Serco is looking for a motivated and detail oriented Program Asset Coordinator to join our Team in Colorado Springs, CO . Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact on a critical mission supporting US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM).
Serco supports the US Army IMCOM Army Child & Youth Services (CYS) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) to include the equipment within the server rack. Our team upgrades, maintains and provides support to the Child & Youth staff on site to allow them to perform their mission successfully.
We are looking for individuals that can work with a team to support the contract in Colorado Springs. This on site role supports inventory and asset management activities throughout the full asset lifecycle—from receipt to disposal—while working within established policies and procedures. The position operates under moderate supervision with room for independent judgment. This role consists of 70% asset management and 30% warehouse/logistical support.
In this role, you will:
• Track, receive, and retire assets across program sites; prepare shipping documents; support inventory control activities.
• Oversee asset transfers, deployments, and redeployments; update the asset management database in coordination with IMCOM technical teams.
• Support the Asset Manager in verifying, validating, and auditing assets.
• Maintain accurate asset tracking data in the asset database system.
• Validate IT assets under warranty.
• Assist the Senior Asset Manager and Logistics Supervisor with tasks supporting IMCOM business needs.
• Work efficiently in a fast paced warehouse environment with strong attention to detail.
• Exercise independent judgment to resolve issues and follow established procedures and policy guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A High school diploma/GED
Minimum 2 years of asset or inventory control experience, preferably in a warehouse setting
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be a US citizen
Must be able to obtain a favorable NACI
Occasional weekend work and travel may be required - (Less than 10%)
Must maintain access to Gov't/Military Installations - ability to obtain CAC
Additional desired skills and experience:
Familiarity with asset management tools and systems
Experience with ServiceNow (preferred but not required)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
