Auria (Boecore LLC) Web Developer - Full Stack in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Auria is looking to hire a skilled, results-oriented Full Stack Web Developer with multiple years of professional experience developing web APIs and front ends (UI) in a DevOps environment. While this role can be remote, Colorado Springs, CO is a preferred location with a Hybrid schedule.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Collaborate With Stakeholders: Join the team in design sessions and software demonstrations with industry partners and customers.
- Influence Architectural Decisions: Actively participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions, influencing direction and ensuring the implementation of long-lasting solutions leveraging the latest industry standards and conventions.
- Stay at the Forefront of Technology: Continuously explore emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web development and DevOps, applying that knowledge to drive innovation and continuously improve development processes.
- Apply skills, ingenuity, and energy in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies including reviews, demos, & planning; backlog grooming, story estimation and team retros also included.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack (frontend and backend) web developer - having made significant contribution to a published JavaScript and/or ASP.NET web capability.
- At least 3 years of recent experience working in a DevOps environment, especially involving maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines (YAML), building and testing Docker containerized applications and APIs, and troubleshooting pipeline/deployment issues.
- At least 3 years of recent experience developing React web frontends with an ASP.NET (Web API 2 / REST) and MongoDB backend.
- Proficient in using the Ubuntu Linux Bash shell to navigate and troubleshoot container issues.
- A strong understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices - especially those involving web and DevOps.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including DoD personnel.
- Experience working on Agile Scrum teams using related project management tools (e.g., Jira).
- A proven track record of successfully implementing complex software solutions and meeting deadlines.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (or eligibility and willingness to obtain).

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Well versed in and able to communicate user-centered design principles.
- Experience using Cypress to develop UI component and end-to-end integration (API) tests
- Experience working in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to manage web servers and routing.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $93,583 - $134,760
