Job Description:
RTS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive hardware testing strategies for a wide range of components, support various forms of radiation effects testing (total dose, neutron, dose rate, single event effects) both at the Colorado Springs facility as well as off-site facilities, work with customers to define test requirements, work with test technicians, engineers and management to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement hardware test plans, protocols, and procedures.
Create and maintain test hardware and software infrastructure.
Perform rigorous hardware testing, including functional, performance, and reliability testing.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineers and test technicians to resolve issues.
Develop and maintain test documentation and procedures.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability considerations.
Contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and tools.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills and Requirements:
Experience testing a wide variety of electronic components from diodes to memories.
Experience with test automation frameworks.
Experience with test data analysis and reporting.
Experience with radiation effects testing of components.
