Job Description
A client of Insight Global is hiring a Senior Network Architect to lead enterprise network architecture across the organization. This role is not for a hands‑only engineer—we are looking for someone who operates at a higher architectural and strategic level, translating business challenges into network solutions and clearly articulating why designs and technologies are chosen. This is a Cisco‑centric integrator environment (70%), but success in this role requires strong awareness of the broader networking ecosystem and the ability to introduce alternative solutions where appropriate.
Preferred: Remote in Colorado, so they can travel to office if needed.
Salary Range: 250,000-275,000/yr

Skills and Requirements
• 10+ years of network experience
• Proven experience operating at a Network Architect / Principal Architect level
• Strong integrator mindset with enterprise‑scale environments
• Comfortable leading stakeholders, workshops, and architectural decision‑making
-Cisco enterprise networking experience, such as:
○ Cisco SD‑WAN
○ Network Access Control (NAC)
○ Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
• Network security technologies including:
○ Cisco, Palo Alto
While Cisco is the dominant platform, the architect must understand and evaluate:
• Juniper
• Aruba
• Fortinet
Ability to compare solutions and recommend the right fit, not just default vendors Wireless Networking Experience
