We are seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher / Pre-K Lead (Ages 4--5) to lead a structured, engaging classroom focused on kindergarten readiness. We serve children ages 6 weeks through 6 years and are proud to be a NAC-accredited, Colorado Shines Level 4 Early Education Academy. The Learning Experience (TLE) uses a proprietary, research-based curriculum designed to support the whole child---academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
This is a full-time leadership role for an educator who is confident managing a classroom, implementing curriculum, and fostering a positive, well-organized learning environment.

What You'll Do
As a Pre-K Lead Teacher, a part of our Universal Pre-Kindergarten Team, you will:
- Lead and manage a classroom of 4--5-year-old children in a structured, nurturing environment
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning experiences
- Prepare children for kindergarten by building social, emotional, and academic foundations
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom culture
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress and development
- Communicate regularly and professionally with families
- Mentor and support assistant teachers in the classroom
- Maintain compliance with Colorado licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a preschool or Pre-K teacher (experience with ages 4--5 strongly preferred)
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate practices
- Professional communication skills with children, families, and team members
- Dependability, punctuality, and commitment to high standards of care
- Ability to meet all Colorado licensing requirements, including trainings and certifications
- Colorado Shines Professional Development Account (PDIS Credential 3.0 Level 2 or higher)
- Must pass all required background checks and health screenings as required by state and licensing authorities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activity, including sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, and floor interaction with children
- Ability to actively engage with children at their level for extended periods of time in a classroom environment
Sign-On Bonus Details
The $500 sign-on bonus is paid after 90 working days of employment, contingent upon satisfactory attendance and punctuality, compliance with all licensing rules and center policies, and successful performance in the role.
