Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is seeking candidates for a Sustainment Logistics Manager Principal (Product Support Lead) position supporting the Mission Delta 4 (MD4)/4th Sustainment Squadron (4STS) in the
Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS)
Program Office.
This role will be instrumental in supporting Missile Warning, Missile Defense (MW/MD), Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and Command and Control (C2) readiness, maintenance, and sustainability.
This is a full-time position on Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. Expect 60-80% telework as required by the workload within the Colorado Springs area unless otherwise designated by the government customer.
Responsibilities

e, but not limited to:
- Strongly manage a contractor team of three logisticians as the PARCS Logistics Product Support Lead/Area Lead to perform logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support the specified mission and system components of the division.
- Prepare briefings and brief senior government and contractor leadership such as Division Chiefs, Chief of Logistics, etc. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Become the expert on designated logistics roles that complement other team members' expertise while also providing reinforcing support on cross-trained duties.
- Utilize the tenets of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook and apply understanding of the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements for program requirements in focus areas such as Technical Orders, Obsolescence Management, Sparing Analysis, Property Accountability (Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Software Licensing, Hardware Warranties, facilities, and services.
- Provide expert logistics input on Request for Proposals (RFPs), Statement of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), Deactivated Equipment Lists (DEL), Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL), Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA), and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).
- Financial planning experience to include Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Fiscal Year Execution Plan, Sustainment Planning Execution and Reporting System (SPERS), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reporting, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR)
- Coordinate and integrate along with the efforts of engineers, cyber security specialists, test managers and other functional specialists to determine system requirements and develop/adjust the plans that support those systems.
- Provide technical support and analysis on field, depot and modification program issues
- Review and recommend changes to program-unique specifications to include system specifications, development specifications, and product specifications for both hardware and software, for proper format, content, and compliance with program requirements and standards
- Provide technical maintenance and TO support to users; regularly by telephone, email, and local meetings or irregularly by direct field-support
- Apply Agile and/or Waterfall development methodologies to both hardware and software projects
- Prepare or assist with preparation of Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) to support configuration changes and inspections
- Work independently and/or as part of a collaborative project team to integrate logistics requirements into planning or logistics management of the program.
- Apply knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning, in accordance with the DoD 5000 series instructions, during each phas of acquisition.
- Lead and/or assist the program's effort to execute a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA)
- Collect and analyze manufacturer and Space Force metrics (reliability, availability, maintainability, etc.) to be briefed at program reviews and other stakeholder meetings as required.
- Utilize Microsoft Office products as the primary software tools.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Top Secret
Education: AAS or higher
Years of Experience:
15 years of functional experience in logistics/sustainment logistics with at least 10 years of experience in the Defense Industry OR BA/BS and 10 years of functional experience in logistics/sustainment logistics, 5 of which must be in the Defense Industry
