Operations Field Support Specialist
Our Operations Division is seeking an Operations Field Support Specialist to provide operational support for the Energy Work Management group and our Stakeholders. You will be part of a team responding to a high volume of inquiries and requests requiring extensive interaction with a variety of applications, customers, and stakeholders. A day in the life of an Operations Field Support Specialist may include:
Efficiently manage and process a high volume of invoices while ensuring accuracy and adherence to critical deadlines
Ensure accurate documentation of company assets and timely close-out of work orders to support operational efficiency and compliance
Manage and process a high volume of third-party billing requests related to asset damages
Coordinating billing and processing of damages with the District Attorney’s office
Responding to Gas calls/Inquiries from a diversified customer base (Distribution, Trouble Shooters, Gas Quality Control Inspectors, Gas Leak Search and Corrosion Crews, Contract Administration, various cross sections of CSU
Managing compliance programs, backing up several minor programs within the Gas Services Team
Covering incoming phone lines from internal and external sources
Promote and maintain high standards of data accuracy and consistency across multiple business systems
Providing business process analysis, recommending changes, and improvements
Developing processes to increase the efficiency of operations or reduce costs, and implementing and monitoring changes and improvements
Who You Are:
Relevant and progressively responsible experience in a high-volume business support or customer service context
Experience with Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications is valued
Ability to provide excellent customer service skills and respond promptly to customer needs, as well as requests for service and assistance
Ability to learn new technologies and programs
Able to work independently or collaboratively
Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a small amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
