Job Store Manufacturing Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs. This role will focus on supporting production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality output across fabrication and machining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing environments, particularly with CNC equipment, sheet metal fabrication, and process optimization.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80907
Pay: $65,000 annually ($31.25/hour)
Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 7:00 AM -- 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to support production requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to coordinate schedules, outputs, and specifications.
- Provide hands-on support with fabrication and machining processes (laser, turret press, brake press, CNC).
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, and quality.
- Support estimation and quoting by reviewing designs and planning materials/labor requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
- Proficiency with CNC programming, blueprint reading, and fabrication equipment (laser, brake press, turret press).
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in metal fabrication, aerospace/defense, automotive, or industrial equipment industries a plus.
