Volt is immediately hiring Overnight Machine Operators for a leading semiconductor manufacturer in Colorado Springs, CO.
As a Machine Operator, you will:
Check and inspect operation results against predetermined tolerances using SPC charts.
Operate traditional fab equipment and tools required for wafer processing.
Follow proper material handling guidelines and handle delicate materials with care.
Adhere to cleanroom protocols to maintain a controlled environment.
Perform first-level maintenance troubleshooting and determine if maintenance intervention is needed.
Interface daily with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management teams.
Troubleshoot tool errors, make necessary adjustments, and ensure product quality.
Perform first-level engineering troubleshooting and disposition lots/wafers.
Take actions to allow production to continue in a timely manner without compromising quality.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot assigned production equipment to achieve goals for quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Identify defects according to workmanship standards and collaborate on solutions to reduce or eliminate them.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Machine Operator candidates must meet the following requirements:
Minimum of 6 months experience required; 3-5 years of machine operating experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED.
Previous experience in manufacturing or cleanroom environments is a plus.
Ability to work compressed work shifts (12-hour shifts).
Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Good mechanical aptitude, vision, and finger dexterity.
Strong attention to detail.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. + 15% shift differential (approx. $23.00/hr.)
Shift: Overnight (7 PM - 7 AM), Mon-Wed or Mon-Thu (rotating 12-hour shifts: 3 days on/4 days off or 4 days on/3 days off).
