Cimarron Software Se Local Control Center (LCC) Cyber Security Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Cimarron is seeking a Local Control Center (LCC) Cyber Security Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area.
Key Duties:
- Provide technical support for Life Cycle Cybersecurity (LCC) activities, including Cyber Documentation, Semi-Annual Reports, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA).
- Collect, review, and submit cybersecurity documentation and reports to the MDA Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) for each Distributed Computing Center (DCC).
- Manage eMASS records, cyber libraries, and compliance repositories to ensure documentation accuracy and readiness for audits.
- Oversee ACAS exemptions, extensions, and compliance dashboards while ensuring adherence to DoD and Cyber Task Orders.
- Operate and maintain Enterprise Security Suite (ESS) modules and validate Rogue Sensor Detection (RSD) waivers.
- Review ISSO submissions, including network diagrams, MRCT data, and PPSM information; prepare and submit STIG compliance and system reports.
- Support risk management, control assessments, and security monitoring activities using eMASS.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve issues, brief leadership, and ensure mission success with minimal operational impact.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. - Active Secret Clearance.
- Current DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II certification.
- Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Cyber Task Orders (CTO), Authority to Operate (ATO), and Program of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).
- Experience with consolidating reports from Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Endpoint Security Suite (ESS), and Hardware and Software (HW/SW) Lists.
- Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Security Classification Guides (SCG).
- Familiarity with DoD/MDA NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Risk Management Framework.
- Experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
- 4 or more years of general, full-time work experience.
- 2 or more years of directly related experience.
- Associate's degree (or higher) in a related field.
