Computer Operations Support Analyst (COSA)
Schriever SFB
The selected candidate will be part of a team that performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of the systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment enabling Space Domain Awareness and Space Defense. The candidate will provide first level technical support to the customer and perform initial troubleshooting of all local hardware, software and networks. The candidate will document and report all events/issues to leadership. The candidate will receive tasking and direction from the leadership for all operations, test & real world events. The candidate will also assist in maintenance of user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
Position requires rotating 24x7 shift work at steady state but not initially (expected 2027). Candidate will be assigned to a shift and assignment to be determined by mission requirements. Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends will be required when the time comes.
• Must meet and be current with DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirement (Security + CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security). Candidate will be responsible to maintain DoD 8570 certification for the full contract period.
• Minimum Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Background and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.
• Background and experience in system and/or network administration that include the following (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco and/or Juniper).
• Background and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired Skills:
• Experience and knowledge of Missile Defense Systems a big plus, but not required
• TS/SCI Preferred
