Job Title: Front End Devsecops Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Front End DevSecOps Engineer who can adeptly balance hands-on IT support with modern automation and DevOps practices. You will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and constructing efficient, secure systems to scale with the company. The ideal candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting laptop issues, provisioning accounts, and writing automation scripts to streamline workflows.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure.
Provide support to end-users for various IT-related issues.
Build and implement secure systems that can scale with the company.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
Write and execute automation scripts to enhance workflow efficiency.
Develop React and Typescript user interfaces in NextJS, supported by GraphQL and WebSocket data.
Design and implement complex interactive data visualizations using SVG and WebGL.
Follow UX and accessibility best practices.
Work effectively in an agile, trunk-based development flow.
Essential Skills
Linux and security compliance knowledge.
React and NextJS expertise.
Proficiency in UX Engineering and Web UI Development.
Experience with GraphQL and WebSockets.
Data visualization skills using SVG and WebGL.
Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and virtualization concepts.
DevOps practices and HTML5 Canvas knowledge.
NodeJS or backend API collaboration experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must hold or be willing to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Intermediate to expert level experience with React and Typescript.
Hands-on experience with WebSockets, Canvas, WebRTC, D3, and WebGL.
Familiarity with Scrum, test-driven development, and results-oriented work habits.
At least two years of experience in self-directed remote work environments.
Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
Work Environment
Join a highly collaborative engineering team in a hybrid environment, working within an agile framework. Participate in daily standups and regular pairing or brainstorming sessions. The workday must overlap the window from 7 am through 9 pm Pacific by at least two hours each business day for meetings and collaboration. The team emphasizes trunk-based development with frequent, small pull requests and a focus on clean, maintainable code. This is a Permanent position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $225000.00/yr.
