Seasonal Custodial Worker -- Summer Campus Reset Team

Position Summary
Colorado College is seeking motivated, reliable individuals to join our Summer Campus Reset Team. This seasonal role plays a critical part in preparing campus facilities following student move-out and ensuring all spaces are cleaned, restored, and ready for summer conferences and guests.
This is a physically active position working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ideal candidates take pride in their work, maintain a positive attitude, and are comfortable working in warm conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- May perform advanced custodial cleaning, such as carpet cleaning and floor restoration
- Remove trash and debris from residence halls and campus buildings following student move-out
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, common areas, offices, and dorm rooms
- Assist with resetting furniture and preparing spaces for summer use
- Follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, including warm summer conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion
- Ability to lift up to 30--50 pounds
- Fast-paced, physically demanding environment
