The Security Guard Program Manager is responsible for end-to-end oversight of contracted security guard services across a national office portfolio. This role owns guard program standards ("post orders"), vendor performance management, KPI reporting, and issue escalation to ensure consistent, high-quality coverage and customer experience. The role serves as the primary point of contact for the third-party guard vendor and partners closely with site leaders, Facilities, and Office of Security to maintain safe, compliant, and professional security operations.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and maintain post orders and site-specific procedures; ensure alignment to company policies, safety requirements, and local needs
Standard guard operations across sites (e.g., access control, visitor management, incident reporting, patrol requirements, badging/escalation protocols)
Lead periodic site assessments and operational reviews to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
Own the relationship with the contracted guard vendor: governance, performance reviews, service delivery, and continuous improvement
Define, monitor, and report program KPIs/SLAs (e.g., staffing fill rate, on-time arrivals, training completion, incident report timeliness/quality, post inspection scores, patrol compliance)
Conduct routine audits and post inspections (virtual and on-site), validate compliance, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained
Manage escalations for performance issues, safety concerns, and conduct violations; coordinate investigations as needed.
Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for leadership (monthly/quarterly business reviews).
Analyze trends (incidents, staffing, overtime, call-offs, service failures) and implement prevention plans
Drive improvements to processes, technology adoption (as applicable), and guard training/communication.
Partner with local office/facilities leaders to ensure coverage meets site operating needs
Coordinate with internal Office of Security teams on incident response, policy updates, and vendor compliance
Support planning for new site onboarding, site moves, or changes in guard coverage
Support contract administration: scope adherence, change requests, rate card validation, and invoicing review
Ensure vendors meet contractual insurance, licensing, background screening, and training requirements
Required Qualifications
US Citizenship required
Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice or related field
8+ years of experience in physical security operations, security program management, or facilities/vendor management with a national or multi-site scope
Demonstrated experience managing a third-party contract security provider and holding vendors accountable to SLAs/KPIs
Strong capability in writing/updating post orders, SOPs, and operational standards.
Proficiency with metrics and reporting
Excellent stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and escalation handling
Ability to travel domestically (estimate 50% travel for inspections, onboarding, and issue resolution
Ability to work outside normal business hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc. due to after-hours escalation for critical incidents
Preferred Qualifications
Security management certifications (e.g., ASIS CPP/PSP, or comparable)
Experience with access control/visitor management platforms and guard tour/patrol verification tools
Experience supporting corporate office environments and executive-facing locations
Familiarity with regulatory/licensing considerations for contract guard services across multiple states
