Cimarron Software Se Cyber Sustainment Analyst (Junior-Level) in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Cimarron is seeking a junior-level Cyber Sustainment Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at either the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, or Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.
*Key Duties: *
- Support the development and implementation of cyberspace security strategies and plans for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
- Enable Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) activities through documentation, administrative coordination, and operational support.
- Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, incident response guidelines, and technical documentation supporting CSSP capabilities.
- Manage the indexing, cataloging, storage, and controlled access of organizational knowledge, including digital and hard-copy artifacts.
- Organize and retain artifacts in support of cybersecurity inspections, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Leverage collaborative technologies such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to support knowledge sharing and operational coordination.
- Prepare and deliver briefings, reports, white papers, and informational analysis to support MDA CSSP leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain sustainment documentation, trackers, and records to ensure compliance with contractual and Government requirements.
- Provide analytical insight to interpret customer needs and translate them into actionable requirements and process improvements.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance cybersecurity operations, testing procedures, and documentation practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional cybersecurity and operational teams to ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and policy adherence.
- Ensure alignment with Government policies, schedules, and program objectives while proactively addressing emerging program challenges.
*Required Skills, Experience, and Education: *
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include, but is not limited to, testing for marijuana use.
- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. - Active Secret Clearance (or higher) with the ability to obtain a TS Clearance.
- 3 or more years of general, full-time work experience.
- May be reduced with completion of an advanced degree.
- 1 or more years of directly related cyber experience.
- Current DoD 8750.01-M IAT Level II Certification (ex., Security+ with CE)
- Have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize competing assignments in a dynamic operational environment.
- Demonstrate technical writing experience, including drafting cybersecurity-related documentation such as policies, procedures, incident response guides, or technical briefings.
- Show initiative in pursuing professional development, certifications, and continued education relevant to cybersecurity or knowledge management.
*Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: *
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
- Familiarity with Security Operations Center (SOC) environments, particularly within a Department of Defense (DoD) context.
- Working knowledge of Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) policies, processes, and procedures.
- Understanding of DoD mission system su tainment principles and lifecycle support activities.
- Motivated, self-directed professional capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Associate degree (or higher) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
