ABOUT THE ROLE
Ensures the safe and timely delivery of prep product to the customer at the proper temperature and to the proper job site. Returns to assigned plant in a timely manner for additional loads.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas
Drives truck trailer to transport various heavy equipment used by the contracting division for asphalt and concrete construction projects in a safe, efficient and timely manner
Loads and unloads equipment
Makes sure equipment is securely fastened to trailer. Communicates truck/job status to dispatch.
Responsible for conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operations of trucks.
Keeps a driver's log for DOT.Maintains appearance of truck, keeps proper air pressure in tires, checks fluid levelsincluding oil, hydraulic, coolant and fuel. Performs minor repairs to truck as needed.
Assists with other duties as assigned by management.
Interacts with internal and external customers and provides excellent customer service.
Maintains good public relations with customers.

Job Requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A).
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to perform manual labor, including loading and unloading materials when necessary.
Strong communication and time-management skills.
Physical ability to sit for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
