JOB SUMMARY:
Goodwill Staffing is a full-service staffing agency within Goodwill of Colorado. Goodwill Staffing offers many employment opportunities such as temporary-to-hire and temporary day labor positions. Goodwill Staffing serves the Colorado Springs and Denver areas. Goodwill Staffing works with a variety of Clients offering a variety of job opportunities. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to turn permanent.
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented shop drawing detailer to create shop drawings for metal fabrication. These drawings will be submitted to Project Managers Architects and General Contractors for approval. Creative Fabrications works in both the residential and commercial metal fabrication industries. Some of the products we manufacture include but are not limited to stairs, railings, awnings, structural steel packages, and other miscellaneous metal items. This position requires a professional attitude, ability to interact with and relay critical information to shop employees, Project Manager’s, and the company owner. Reliability is essential to being successful in this position. There will be occasional offsite field measurements required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The ability to read, decipher, and communicate blueprint information
Proficient in DraftSight and Solid Works
Understanding of Local Building Codes
Good Communication Skills
Ability to Work Well with Others

Experience:
Two years industry experience is advantageous, but we are willing to work with some one that is experienced in DraftSight and Solid Works.
Solid Works
DraftSight: 1 year (preferred)
Print reading
Ability to interpret drawings
Commercial/Residential construction knowledge
Microsoft Office Suite
2D & 3D Programming for Plasma Cutting Machines
AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
