Description
We are looking for a payroll clerk to join our team in East Memphis. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient handling of mail and office-related tasks while maintaining organized and accurate records. This is a long-term contract position offering a dynamic opportunity for growth and collaboration in an office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
• Communicate with customers, employees, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, provide information, and resolve concerns.
• Organize and maintain records related to payroll, inventory, and business transactions.
• Perform data entry, proofreading, and verification of office documents and reports.
• Update and manage filing systems, databases, and mailing lists.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive documents and information.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for daily tasks.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or needs.
• Provide administrative support to enhance office operations.
