Job Description
A client/employer of Insight Global is seeking an experienced Design Operations Lead to define, implement, and scale design processes across a growing digital product design organization. This role will ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment across designers by establishing clear intake, governance, and operational standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience as a designer or in a design operations role and thrives in an execution-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and implement standardized design processes across the organization
• Establish and manage a design defect and QA process
• Create and maintain a design toolkit for strategists and designers
• Set up Figma governance, including file organization, checklists, and process adherence
• Define and manage a design intake process
• Lead quarterly experience reviews across digital products
• Support design onboarding, ensuring consistency in tools and workflows
• Ensure alignment across designers and facilitate collaboration between teams
• Provide strategic direction and operational guidance

Skills and Requirements
• 5–10 years of experience in design operations, digital product design, or a related role
• Prior experience as a designer or in a design ops capacity
• Strong background in digital product design and close collaboration with product teams
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Design, UX Design, or related field
• Highly self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast paced environment • Customer-facing experience preferred
• Design certifications
