We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial projects throughout Vermont.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily on-site construction operations
Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and project sequencing
Enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies
Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards
Conduct site meetings and collaborate with project managers
Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation
Oversee inspections, compliance, and site logistics

The required skills and knowledge for this position are:
10 Years of construction experience, with at least 5 years of field experience
Solid Understanding of the construction process
Knowledge of construction materials and systems
Effective staffing management and productivity management
Experience managing large commercial construction projects
Experience in project costs and finances
Solid understanding of technology, to include, computers, mobile devices, construction software
This position has a starting salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 annually. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and project responsibilities. Engelberth Construction is committed to fair, transparent, and competitive pay practices.
Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, education, certifications, and internal equity
