Engelberth Construction is seeking Project Engineers to support commercial construction projects throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. This role is ideal for those who are looking to launch their careers in project management.
The Project Engineer supports project teams from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring technical documentation, coordination, and project controls are executed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and track submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders
Assist with cost control and change management processes
Review drawings and specifications for coordination and constructability
Support schedule updates and procurement tracking
Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and engineers
Maintain document control in digital project management systems
Assist with project closeout documentation (O&M manuals, as-builts, warranties)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (completed or in progress) in:
Construction Management
Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural)
Architecture
Business Administration
Or related field
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Internship or co-op experience in construction preferred
Compensation
Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000 annually - This position is eligible for additional compensation through Engelberth Construction’s bonus programs and comprehensive benefits package.
This range represents the anticipated base salary for this position at the time of posting. Compensation is determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, experience, skills, certifications, project complexity, and overall qualifications.
In accordance with applicable Vermont and New Hampshire pay transparency requirements, Engelberth Construction provides the compensation range for this position in good faith based on current market conditions and internal equity considerations. Compensation may vary above or below the posted range depending on business needs and candidate qualifications.
