[The Workforce System Specialist supports individuals across youth and adult programs through individualized service planning, assessments, referrals, job placementassistance, and follow-up services. This position also collaborates closely with schools, employers, community partners, and workforce system stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery and program compliance.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}

[DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Recruit, interview, screen,determineeligibility,enroll, and orient participants into WIOA and related workforce programs.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Conduct intake assessments and develop, implement, andmonitorindividualized service and career plans aligned with participant goals and labor market demand.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Provide ongoing case management, career guidance, follow-up, and retention services to support successful employment outcomes.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Coordinate andfacilitatework-based learning activities, including job shadows, internships, work experience, career exploration, and employer-led activities.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Develop andmaintainrelationships with employers, school districts, training providers, and community partners to create employment and training opportunities.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Provide labor market information, job readiness training, and individual and group job searchassistance.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Monitor participant progress through regular communication with participants, employers, and trainingproviders;address barriers and support retention.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Maintainaccurate, complete, and compliant participant files and documentationin accordance withWIOA and organizational requirements.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Collect, track, and compile datarequiredfor local, state, and federal performance and compliance reporting.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
- [Collaborate as part of a team to support workforce system goals, continuous improvement, and special projects.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}

[PREFERRED SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND EXPERIENCE:]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
[Associatesto bachelors degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
[Experience managing, working in, or supporting Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) employment and training programs.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
[Knowledge of WIOA and related federal and state regulations.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
[Experience in workforce development, case management, career coaching, Job Matching, resume writing, interview prep, etc.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
[Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher).]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-pro s="{}"}
[Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
[Project management and event coordination experience.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
[Experience with data entry, data tracking, and performance reporting.]{contrast="auto"}[]{ccp-props="{}"}
