Your role and responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer specializing in Test Management for SAP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of applications and systems implemented using SAP. Your focus will be on developing test scenarios and test cases, executing them to verify that the system meets the requirements, with a primary emphasis on functional testing. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Test Scenarios and Cases: Create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of system functionality, identifying potential issues before they impact users. • Execute Test Cases: Run developed test cases to verify that the system is built according to the specified requirements, meticulously documenting outcomes and any discrepancies found. • Verify System Requirements: Confirm that the system adheres to the established requirements through rigorous testing, focusing on functional aspects to guarantee compliance and quality. • Identify and Report Defects: Detect defects and inconsistencies during testing, reporting them promptly to facilitate timely corrections and improvements. • Ensure Functional Quality: Concentrate on the functional testing of applications, ensuring they operate as intended and meet the necessary standards.

Required technical and professional expertise

• SAP Testing Experience: Experience with testing applications and systems implemented using SAP, including developing test scenarios and test cases to verify system functionality. • Functional Testing Knowledge: Experience in functional testing of applications, with a focus on verifying system requirements and identifying potential issues. • Test Case Development: Experience with creating comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of system functionality. • Test Execution and Analysis: Experience in executing test cases, documenting outcomes, and analyzing results to identify defects and inconsistencies. • Quality Assurance Understanding: Experience with ensuring functional quality of applications, confirming system adherence to established requirements through rigorous testing.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP Testing Tools Knowledge: Experience with various SAP testing tools and methodologies would be beneficial for this role, enabling more efficient test case development and execution. • Automated Testing Exposure: Exposure to automated testing techniques and tools in an SAP environment would be advantageous, allowing for more comprehensive testing coverage and faster defect identification. • Agile Methodologies Familiarity: Familiarity with agile development methodologies would be valuable, facilitating collaboration with development teams and ensuring testing aligns with iterative development cycles.
