Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across heavy equipment and trucks. Perform engine and transmission rebuilds, hydraulic pump replacements, and undercarriage rebuilds. Execute electrical system troubleshooting with OEM diagnostic tools (e.g., Caterpillar ET, Komatsu, Deere Service Advisor, Volo Tech Tool). Lead and assist with major shop repairs, component swaps, and field breakdowns. Verify root-cause analysis on repeat failures and document findings. Support the Service Manager with prioritizing work orders, assigning jobs, and reviewing technician notes. Train and mentor Tech I and Tech II technicians - assign learning tasks and very progress. Lead technical discussions during safety meetings and OEM visits. Conduct post-repair test operation and sign off on high-value repairs.
