What You\'ll Do:

  • Maintain County buildings in a clean, orderly, and professional condition.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, wax, and buff floors.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, windows, and common areas.
  • Handle heavy-duty cleaning like carpet shampooing and wall washing.
  • Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and chemicals.
  • Perform light maintenance such as changing light bulbs.
  • Assign tasks and provide day-to-day directions to staff.
  • Assist with hiring and training new team members.
  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Help schedule shifts and maintain team coverage.
  • Order, track, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate special projects like deep cleans and seasonal tasks.
  • Communicate regularly with team members and management.
  • Work a swing shift that overlaps with both day and night crews.

What Were Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of custodial or related experience (lead experience is a plus)
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team when needed.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
  • A valid drivers license.
