As a Security Officer - Access Control Monitor in Coatesville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage access control at entry points, verify credentials, greet visitors, and document activity to support security-related operations. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, and communicate quickly with site teams. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
Control access at gates, guard shacks, and/or entry points by verifying identification, checking credentials against approved lists, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
Conduct vehicle, trailer, and delivery checks as required, including directing traffic flow, verifying shipping and receiving paperwork, and reporting discrepancies through the established chain of command.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications, written reports, and incident documentation.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter lines, noting unusual conditions, helping to deter unauthorized activity, and communicating observations to site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
