Apple Tree Learning Center LLC Child Care Worker - Full & Part Time in Coal Township, Pennsylvania
Seeking caring, responsible persons accountable for maintaining a safe and nurturing, learning
environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Duties include supervising children six weeks to
12 years old, developing educational activities, while maintaining a safe environment for the children.
Additional duties include:
- Organizing activities and developing curriculum for children
- Following a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day
- Changing diapers as necessary
- Serving snacks and lunch
- Communicating each child's progress, interests and issues that may occur
- Maintaining contact with the children's parent/guardian on our app
- Ensuring the children have good hygiene
You must enjoy interacting with children and demonstrate a passion for their education and
development. Physical health is important, allowing you to stand and do steps and keep up with active
children. Patience is an essential requirement when dealing with multiple personalities and levels of
development. Flexibility with your daily schedule is important, allowing our facility to accommodate
ratio requirements.
Being able to listen to and communicate with children with a caring and compassionate attitude will
enable the right person to fulfill this important role.
Salary is dependent on education and experience.
