7am to 3pm - 5 days a week $17 to $18 Hourly Full-Time & Part-Time openings
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our Grounds Crew team. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong understanding of various grounds maintenance practices. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine lawn care including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure well-maintained grounds.
- Execute landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and maintaining flower beds.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist with hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as necessary.
- Assist with hatchery operations; moving fish, loading fish, cleaning tanks and floors, high water concerns, etc.
- Fish cleaning, packaging and billing the members.
- Participate in snow removal during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Basic building maintenance and carpentry.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain a tractor with various tractor attachments.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively.
- Experience in lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators and zero turn mowers.
- Familiarity with horticulture principles and gardening best practices.
- Ability to perform construction-related tasks related to hardscaping projects and building maintenance.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including removal, trimming and health assessments.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Maintenance skills used to inspect, diagnose and solve problems with machines or buildings.
- Proficiency in HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems along with carpentry, painting, and several repairs.
