JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Stock Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, tracking, and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support production and shipping operations. This role ensures materials are received, stored, issued, and recorded correctly, helping prevent production delays and inventory discrepancies. The Inventory Stock Coordinator works closely with purchasing, production, shipping/receiving, and quality departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, components, finished goods, and supplies.
Perform daily stock checks, cycle counts, and full inventory audits as required.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in ERP or inventory management systems.
Monitor inventory for expiration dates, damage, or non-conforming materials, coordinate with Quality for proper handling.
Track inventory usage trends and alert management to low stock or replenishment needs.
Stock Coordination & Material Handling
Receive, label, and store incoming materials following established procedures.
Issue materials to production based on work orders and ensure proper documentation.
Organize warehouse layout for efficient material flow and space utilization.
Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials (if applicable).
Coordinate inventory moves between departments or off-site storage locations.
Documentation & Systems
Enter receipts, transfers, adjustments, and cycle count results into the ERP system.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, logs, and reports.
Assist with developing and updating SOPs related to inventory control and stock handling.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly inventory reports for management.
Cross-Functional Support
Collaborate with Purchasing to resolve order discrepancies, backorders, or supplier issues.
Work with Production Planning to ensure material availability aligns with schedules.
Support Shipping/Receiving with documentation and inbound/outbound coordination.
Communicate inventory issues, shortages, or delays proactively.
Compliance & Safety
Follow all OSHA, company, and industry safety standards.
Ensure proper storage of materials based on weight, size, flammability, or regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
OTHER DUTIES
Keep up to date technically and applying new knowledge to the job for efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–3 years of inventory or warehouse experience required, manufacturing preferred.
Strong computer skills, including experience with ERP or inventory management software required.
Experience with systems such as Infor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication, comprehension and clarity.
Organizational skills
Understanding of inventory methods such as FIFO, LIFP, and lot tracking.
Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Knowledge of 5S principles
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Week One- 7:00AM-4:30PM Monday – Thursday, 7:00AM-3:30PM Friday. Week Two-7:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday and Friday “off day”.
