Position Summary:
This position focuses on the improvement, and maintenance of liquid and air flow test systems. Ensures maximum cost effectiveness and reliability of processes that utilize flow test systems. Improve current flow test systems, ensuring that products and processes meet customer quality requirements. Calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain all flow stands.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for all electrical upgrades and equipment installs along with facility moves.
Experience with 120v/208v/480v/4800v systems which will include high voltage PM’s on all main power panels, install of 480v electrical systems on new equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment; includes all hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic, servo controlled and computer-based systems.
Evaluates current flow test system issues on the floor by conducting process analysis, applying knowledge of system design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with suppliers, and soliciting observations from operators/production technicians.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production.
Perform electromechanical skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Work with PLC’s, Drives, DCS systems, Control Logic and other basic electrical components.
Document work in an automated work order system.
Required Qualifications:
Two Year Technical Degree or 7-10 years of related experience desired with 480v electrical systems.
Fundamental knowledge of liquid and air flow test system principles and concepts and general business operations.
Possesses interpersonal skills suitable for frequent interface with all levels of the organization.
Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders, and top management.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing industry networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and/or participating in professional associations.
Interfaces with multi-disciplined teams to improve and implement new flow test system technologies.
Creative, self-lead individual who demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and is able to give technical instructions to other facets of the business.
Ability to lead and mentor other technicians.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals and policies and recommend changes to procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk, stand, stoop, bend, crawl, climb and sit for extended periods of time. The team member is required to demonstrate manual dexterity and use hands to operate machinery. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Also expected of the team member is regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others. The employee may be required to travel to vendors or customers including overnight trips. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
