Controls Engineer Position at Blue Water Controls

Who You Are

You are a self-motivated problem solver, and you welcome a challenge. You will design and program various automation equipment and robotic work cells. This includes robotic integration projects, clip drive machines, screw drive machines, ultrasonic weld machines, and more. Your involvement with a project will extend from the design phase through manufacturing and assembly and will include service of the equipment at our customers' facilities.

As a successful candidate, you bring the following to our team

• You have a minimum of five years of experience
• You are experienced with controls systems (electrical, software, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
• You are proficient with Allen Bradley, RS Logix (5000, Studio 5000) and Factory Talk.  Other PLC/HMI programming experience is a plus
• You are experienced with FANUC robots, other robot programming skills are a plus
• You are familiar with vision applications, preferably Keyence systems
• You have 2DAutoCAD design experience, preferably DraftSight
• You can wire and build industrial control panels based on electrical schematics
• You are proficient with electrical standards & safety standards
• You have the ability to troubleshoot AC/DC wiring

• You can read and understand electrical drawings
