Emerson IT Asset Management Intern - 1 year in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania
The primary function of the position is to support the Lifecycle of IT Assets within the IT organisation by operating the IT Asset Management processes, with a focus on Hardware Asset Management.
The processes include data entry, data interface monitoring between internal and external systems, ensuring data quality levels, and analysing and reporting on IT Assets.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset data in the internal tool, including correct data entry, regular updates, and issue remediation
Monitor and validate data received from internal systems and external vendors, identifying inconsistencies and exceptions
Perform data quality checks (e.g., duplicates, incomplete or incorrect records) and define corrective actions
Analyze data and prepare reports, primarily using Excel
Create, maintain, and update documentation and work instructions to ensure processes are repeatable and easy to follow
Provide timely support for internal requests and data-related inquiries
Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies
Support the onboarding and integration of new data sources, including data quality validation during rollout
Conduct periodic reviews and updates of hardware models and templates within the tool
