As an experienced Leisure Travel Advisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
Inside sales position selling tours, cruises, travel packages, international programs insurance and more.
Collaborating with clients to determine their needs and advising on appropriate destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, accommodations and cost
Designing detailed itineraries
Attending travel seminars to remain up to date with tourism trends
Entering and maintaining data in ClientBase
Requirements
A passion for travel
A great attitude and efficient work ethic
The desire to be part of a collaborative, fun team
Excellent phone and customer service skills
Strong "people" skills and proven work experience as a travel advisor
Excellent understanding of cruises, tour packages and FITs
Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
Ability to sell international customized programs, tours and cruises
Capable of managing a demanding workload, as well as following up with clients and providing a premium level of service
Ability to multitask, assist where needed, maintain a strong attention to detail, resolve problems independently, and work well under pressure
Impeccable listening skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team environment
