ManpowerGroup Plant Operator in Clinton, New Jersey
Our client, a leading organization in building management and industrial operations, is seeking a Plant operator to join their team. As a Plant operator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting facility management and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Plant operator
Location: Clinton Township, NJ
Pay Range: $37/hr
Shift: M-F, 7am-3:30pm
What's the Job?
Operate and maintain complex building systems including turbines, boilers, chillers, and auxiliary equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure 100% uptime to meet client expectations.
Maintain detailed logs of operations, maintenance activities, and safety procedures.
Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Coordinate with contractors and team members to ensure smooth facility operations.
What's Needed?
Minimum Blue Seal Stationary Engineer License issued by the State of New Jersey, Department of Labor and Industry (Red or Gold seals also considered).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work a rotating shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
