Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for managing nonconformity processes, ensuring proper documentation and resolution, analyzing customer complaints to identify root causes, and implementing corrective actions. You will oversee ISO system management, including audits, compliance, and continuous improvement, drive change initiatives, and facilitate process improvements within the organization. Effective communication with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure that quality standards are consistently met.
Responsibilities
Analyze warranty claims and product complaints across Supplier, Factory, Shipping, Field, and Design areas.
Apply SPSP / RCCA methodologies to determine root cause, implement containment, and drive corrective actions.
Support field quality teams in resolving ongoing technical issues.
Inspect and physically assemble new and existing product components for fit, form, and function evaluations.
Conduct dimensional and functional tests to determine causes of material defects.
Perform mock-ups and component checks for new elevator systems under the person PCP 2.0 protocols.
Audit product and process compliance prior to production release.
Create inspection check sheets, inspection levels, and documentation for quality controls.
Maintain controlled document files and test records accurately and on time.
Work with Industrialization, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams on quality topics.
Provide support during SPSP/PCP processes and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Partner with supplier development teams to address supplier non-conformances.
Drive initiatives related to claim reduction, process efficiency, and corrective/preventive actions.
Conduct spot checks and audits to verify the effectiveness of implemented actions.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
2–5 years of relevant industry experience in mechanical assembly, quality engineering, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of mechanical components, inspection methods, and root-cause analysis.
Root-Cause Analysis (RCCA / SPSP)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
