The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Probationary Music Teacher (UPK-Grade 6). The successful candidate will need to:
Demonstrate fluent understanding of NYS Learning Standards;
Passion for excellence, ability to inspire students, and strong performance skills;
Exemplary instructional, classroom management, and organization skills;
Ability to effectively manage several students and/or projects at the same time in a high-paced environment;
Strong leadership skills, a devotion to excellence, and possession of interpersonal skills needed to build a positive rapport with students and parents;
Willingness to work with different learning styles and student needs;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to work effectively with colleagues and experience in working as part of a team;
