Mental Health Association in Passaic County Director, Intensive Family Support Services in Clifton, New Jersey
The Director is responsible for direct services to families which includes intake, assessments, single family consultation, referral and linkage, advocacy, and facilitation of family support groups and psychoeducational workshops, The focus of this position is to strengthen families' ability to cope with their care-giving role and encourage the development of advocacy and self care skills. Overall supervision of the Intensive Family Support Services program in order to provide a range of family driven supportive activities designed to improve overall functioning and quality of life of family with a mentally ill relative.Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or similar advanced degree. Five years experience in the planning, coordination and implementation of services for people with serious mental illness and their families. Experience in training and supervision of case management specialists.
