Description We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will excel in managing timelines, coordinating tasks, and delivering results while adapting quickly to new environments. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in ambiguity and can operate independently after a brief ramp-up period.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the successful implementation of software projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
• Coordinate tasks and activities across multiple teams, maintaining clear communication and alignment with stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, identify risks, and implement solutions to address potential challenges.
• Facilitate Agile Scrum processes to promote iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira to track project progress and maintain transparency across teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to define project objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project status to stakeholders and management.
• Step into ambiguous situations and develop clear action plans to move projects forward.
• Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
• Ensure all projects adhere to best practices and standards in project management. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management or related roles.
• Proven ability to manage software implementation projects effectively.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project management.
• Proficiency in tools like Atlassian Jira for project tracking and task management.
• PMP Certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and present updates clearly.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently in ambiguous situations.
