Confidential Production Supervisor in Cleveland, Ohio
A manufacturing company in the Cleveland area is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily plant operations. This is a working supervisor role --- you'll be on the production floor alongside a small team, not behind a desk.
We're looking for someone who takes initiative, leads by example, and enjoys being actively involved in operations while coaching and supporting their team.
Compensation $55,000--$65,000 annually + bonus opportunity
Schedule Day shift, Monday--Friday Occasional Saturdays as needed On-site position
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily production activities
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment as needed
- Train and coach team members
- Monitor performance metrics and address issues
- Ensure safety, quality, and workflow standards are met
- Support material flow and batching processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
Qualifications
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience
- 2--4 years of supervisory or team lead experience
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50--70 lbs
