CTG Print Production Associate in Cleveland, Ohio
Job Title: Print Production Specialist Level 3
Location: Cleveland, OH
Job Type: Hourly Consultant
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F, sorry no vacation or holiday pay. You can take time off, it would be unpaid.
Pay: Up to $24.36/hr

Essential Functions:
Operate digital print and color production equipment to meet customer requirements
Serve as point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer jobs
Perform routine and defined production tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Operate standard finishing equipment (e.g., paper cutters, inserters, laminators, hole punchers)
Operate office/production equipment (printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners)
Apply asset tags to office equipment and update tracking databases
Track and coordinate moves, adds, and changes of office equipment assets at customer sites
Clean and maintain office and production equipment as needed
Process and distribute incoming/outgoing faxes and maintain logs for billing
Process basic forms and update information using a PC
Collect and submit meter reads for equipment usage tracking
Troubleshoot and resolve issues to meet production, delivery, and output requirements
Perform quality inspections before, during, and after each production run
Sort and scan hardcopy materials for digital or print use (training provided as needed)
Respond to print/copy equipment issues by coordinating with service personnel
Operate high-volume printers, copiers, and mail finishing equipment (folding/inserting)
Estimate, schedule, and track incoming production jobs
Optimize document design for quality and reproducibility
Track and archive jobs for future reuse, including file backup and retrieval
Inspect files for issues such as font errors, image resolution, and registration
Index electronic materials to media (e.g., CD-ROM, disk, tape) for distribution
Integrate variable data files into print templates
Perform file/document conversion using standard software tools
Conduct basic operator maintenance on equipment
Maintain logs and reporting for billing and operational tracking
Provide basic training to end-users on equipment usage
Coordinate with third-party vendors (including Xerox and others) for supplies and services
Support development of work processes and templates as needed
Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds as required
Skills:
Proficient computer skills, including keyboard and mouse operation
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint):
Create and manage spreadsheets
Use formulas, sorting, filtering, and graphing
Import/export and manipulate data
Embed files and transfer data between applications
Ability to navigate network environments (drives, files, printers)
Proficiency in email communication and document/file management
Ability to browse the web and send documents to network printers
Basic math skills (division, multiplication, percentages)
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation
Ability to coach and mentor team members
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service environment
Prior experience in print production, mail services, or document management preferred
Education:
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required: Post-secondary technical training or equivalent work experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
