Plant Receiving Coordinator

Location: Brooklyn, OH

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $22.90--$25.10 per hour

Available Shifts: First Shift or Second Shift

Position Summary

[The Plant Receiving Coordinator supports steel receiving operations by coordinating inbound shipments via truck and rail, ensuring accurate material handling, and maintaining efficient workflow throughout the facility. This role works closely with delivery drivers, crane operators, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials while identifying and resolving quality or documentation issues.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

Key Responsibilities

[Receive inbound steel shipments from truck and rail]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Coordinate the flow of incoming delivery vehicles for efficient unloading]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Communicate with delivery drivers to verify shipments and resolve discrepancies]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Inspect incoming materials and identify quality issues or defects]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Accurately read and verify shipment documentation, including bills of lading and rail paperwork]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

[Record and label material information (including coil and tag data) accurately]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
