Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support second-shift manufacturing operations in the Greater Cleveland area. This role is responsible for performing layout, setup, operation, and tool adjustments on manual, CNC, and computerized machine shop equipment to produce high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate has strong machining experience, can work independently, and maintains a high standard of quality and safety.

Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday -- Thursday Hours: 12:00 p.m. -- 10:00 p.m. (Four 10-hour days; non-traditional second shift) Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Pay Range
$21.00 -- $32.00 per hour, plus 2nd-shift premium (Compensation based on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and manual machining equipment, including mills and lathes
- Manufacture and inspect precision parts using blueprints, drawings, sketches, and process sheets
- Write, edit, and prove out CNC programs
- Perform dimensional inspections and interpret results against blueprint specifications
- Troubleshoot machining processes to reduce variability and improve throughput
- Verify quality and accuracy of all work performed
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
- Apply proper cutting tool selection and machining techniques
- Follow all shop safety and machine safety procedures
- Work effectively in a team environment while remaining self-motivated and flexible
Qualifications
- CNC and manual mill/lathe experience required
- Approximately 3 years of machining experience preferred (especially for second shift)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with turning centers preferred
- Thread rolling experience preferred
- Technical or trade school training preferred
- Experience machining stainless steel and high-temperature alloys
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills a plus
- Forklift or lift-truck experience a plus
