Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy industrial manufacturing facility. You will work with a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, providing essential maintenance and troubleshooting support.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical controls on equipment such as upsetters, shears, blasters, cranes, conveyors, and extrusion presses.
Handle installation and troubleshooting of motors, drivers, starters, and circuits.
Perform building maintenance and install electrical devices, compressed air, and natural gas systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance on assigned equipment within the facility.
Apply safe operating procedures during all work activities.
Complete written records and maintain logs as required.
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Assemble machines and secure them to foundations or other structures using bolts, welds, rivets, or other fasteners.
Perform maintenance on robotic systems including Motoman, ABB, and Fanuc.
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit; drill holes for wiring.
Trace out short circuits in wiring and perform minor repairs, such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches.
Maintain tools and equipment, keeping supplies and parts organized.
Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace parts, and reassemble equipment.
Perform non-load bearing, basic welding tasks.
Essential Skills
Electrical troubleshooting experience, particularly with 480V systems.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical maintenance.
Proficiency in print reading and preventive maintenance practices.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
- Benefits available day 1 after direct employee
- 401k Match up to 4%
- overtime after 8 hours in a work day
- PTO - 6 days after 6 months, 2 weeks after 1 year of service
- 11 paid holidays after probationary period is completed
