Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance of our building and facility, diagnose and repair industrial equipment, and work with 480-volt electrical systems. You will be responsible for inspecting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs. This role requires effective communication with team members and leadership, as well as the ability to utilize basic computer systems for documentation. A willingness to work overtime and safely handle heavy equipment is essential.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance of the building and facility.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and machinery.
Work with 480-volt electrical systems, including electrical wiring and controls.
Inspect equipment and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Support and enforce Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs.
Assist in developing and implementing initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding maintenance needs.
Utilize basic computer systems for documentation and maintenance tracking.
Safely lift, move, and manipulate heavy equipment for extended periods under varying working conditions.
Essential Skills
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in welding.

Work Environment
The work environment is a noisy and potentially hazardous industrial setting where you will frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to forty pounds. The role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods. You may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical shocks, and high places. Specific vision abilities such as close vision and depth perception are essential. The environment is characterized by loud noise levels due to moving mechanical parts.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
