This role provides Level II technical support by monitoring systems, resolving performance issues, and handling routine installations and configurations using established protocols. The position ensures high customer satisfaction by addressing technical and service-related inquiries promptly while adhering to incident, change, and problem management processes.
The role applies to foundational technical knowledge and business understanding to support assigned hardware, software, or technology areas with limited risk and complexity. The candidate works independently within defined parameters and collaborates with team members to resolve more complex issues.
Monitor systems and detect performance issues.
Resolve routine technical incidents independently and escalate complex issues as needed.
Perform routine installations, configurations, and scripted change management activities.
Assemble, integrate, and troubleshoot hardware/software platforms.
Identify incident trends and escalate within defined timeframes.
Respond to service, product, and technical inquiries ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Meet daily production goals and contract-required response times.
Align work with business strategy and support operational process improvements.
Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to compliance standards.
Support customer expectation management and build relationships with assigned accounts.
Share technical knowledge and contribute to department-level operational plans.
OSA Level II Responsibilities
Candidates for Field Technical Support must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Manage consumable inventory (toner, paper, supplies).
Replace consumables and clear paper jams.
Ensure adequate supplies at customer sites.
Assist end users with device functionality and initial troubleshooting.
Coordinate with branded software support teams.
Report on customer dissatisfaction to CSM/SDM.
Collect usage reports when required.
Swap devices with spare units when necessary.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Associate degree (technical field) with 3–5 years of related experience.
Required Skills & Knowledge
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 2-5 years of related work experience, preferably in maintenance, quality, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of company products and services.
Conceptual understanding of IT environments.
Strong problem-solving skills (proactive and reactive).
Effective communication with technical teams and first-level management.
Active listening and ability to adjust communication style.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong focus on process adherence and service quality.

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
