[As an Engineering Lab Technician, you will be a part of completing industry-leading research in our testing facility. You will conduct and document various hands-on laboratory tests, including tensile, environmental, and vibration testing. You'll utilize your problem-solving skills to identify issues and ensure our products meet quality and performance standards. Duties & Responsibilities:

• [Conduct mechanical, electrical, fiber optic, environmental and vibration testing according to PLP ISO procedures.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Maintain neat and detailed logs of testing data.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Assist with demonstrations for visitors.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Assemble product samples for Sales, Marketing and International Departments.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Perform test gauge calibration.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Do minor machining, such as drilling and cutting of material.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Perform required preventative maintenance and minor repairs on test equipment. Report broken or faulty tools to Laboratory Supervisor.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}

Qualifications & Requirements:

• [Must have High School diploma, continued education preferably in an Engineering Technology field.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Able to operate test equipment.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Able to take accurate measurements.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Able to document logs and write test reports.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Able to set up and conduct testing.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Able to lift, lower and carry up to 50 lbs. and able to push or pull with at least 50 lbs. force.]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
