Job Title: Programmer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Programmer who can interpret blueprints and designs to develop and write precise programs for CNC machines. Using software such as Mastercam, you will ensure optimal machining efficiency and high-quality output.
Responsibilities
Read and understand technical blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings to grasp exact specifications for a part.
Build and write programs for CNC machines using Mastercam to define the part's geometry and machining operations.
Predict and forecast speeds and feeds for job quoting purposes.
Determine the most efficient sequence of operations, select the correct cutting tools, and set precise speeds and feed rates.
Simulate or run tests on programs to ensure error-free and accurate production.
Make manual adjustments to machine settings and program parameters to meet exact specifications.
Identify and resolve problems during the manufacturing process and seek ways to increase production efficiency and reduce downtime.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, well-lit, and non-temperature controlled environment alongside a team of skilled machinists. Our shop just installed a lightly used Boring Mill, and we maintain a very clean and organized tool room. The atmosphere is laid back, with operations running on a 1st shift schedule of roughly 60 hours a week, Monday to Friday (6 AM to 5 PM), with optional half-day Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
