Working at our Clearwater Location: Clearwater is a provider of engineering, circuit card assembly, OEM Avionics, and MRO services to commercial and military customers, with products and technologies that are diverse and highly sophisticated. We are looking for a talented individual to perform a variety of production assembly operations, ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive tasks, involving hardware such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. This role includes complex rework, soldering, wiring, and testing capabilities, allowing you to showcase your technical expertise.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform precision soldering of small electronic components onto circuit card assemblies (CCA).

  • Follow detailed technical work instructions, schematics, and assembly documentation.

  • Assemble circuit boards and electronic modules used in military avionics systems.

  • Operate automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment that captures 3D images to identify potential defects.

  • Review inspection results and perform rework or corrections as required.

  • Maintain high attention to detail while working with small and delicate electronic components.

  • Perform electronic assembly tasks including wiring, component placement, and soldering.

  • Ensure work meets quality standards and manufacturing specifications.

  • Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Hands-on soldering experience with electronic components or circuit boards.

  • Ability to read and follow technical work instructions and assembly documentation.

  • Ability to work with small precision components requiring strong hand-eye coordination.

  • Ability to lift/move materials up to 35 pounds.

  • Ability to work overtime as required.

Desired Skills / Experience

  • Experience assembling circuit card assemblies (CCA) or printed circuit boards (PCB).

  • Experience working in electronics or avionics manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment.

  • Experience performing electronic rework and solder repair.

  • Proficient using computers to review work instructions and inspection results.

  • Prior experience working in team-based manufacturing environments.

Interview Requirement

  • Candidates must successfully complete a hands-on soldering test prior to interview consideration.
