Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes
Shift Hours: 7-4:30
The Manager Clinical Engineering Operations
Provides the clinical equipment expertise to assist BayCare Health System in meeting its initiatives of exceptional patient care.
Coordinates the clinical equipment planning and acquisition process as it relates to exceptional clinical outcomes, exceptional physician and employee satisfaction, and exceptional financial performance.
Assists in coordinating the clinical equipment planning and acquisition processes to ensure BayCare Health System purchases equipment that is compatible with existing systems and best meets its clinical, strategic and financial needs, develops medical device integration strategies with the Beacon initiative, works closely with physicians and clinical departments to determine their clinical equipment needs and wants, identifies emerging technologies and how they can be utilized to improve patient care, oversees the Clinical Engineering dispatch center, and assists Director as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Experience:
Required - 6 years - Supervisory Role in a related field
Required - 6 years - Materials Management; Or - 6 years - Distribution; Or - 6 years - Capital Equipment; Or - 6 years - Biomedical Maintenance; Or - 6 years - Equipment Maintenance in related field; Or - 6 years - Equipment Planning; Or - 15 years - Related experience in lieu of Associates.
Required Education: Required - Associates - Biomedical; Or - Associates - Business Related; Preferred - Bachelors - Biomedical; Preferred - Bachelors - Business Related
